No injuries after train derails in Wyandotte County


KANSAS Metropolis, Kan. (KCTV) — No a person was hurt Friday just after a train derailed in the vicinity of Bonner Springs, Kan.

The derailment occurred at 142nd Street and Loring Road.

The Kansas Metropolis, Kan., Fireplace Department says 21 rail cars totally derailed, nine of which have been small pressure tank automobiles transporting isobutane.

No leaks or spills have been reported. There is no threat to the community, according to the KCKFD.
